What To Wear?….

Hello,

Today I promised I would let my friend show me her entire wardrobe and I thought I would share it with you! My friend thought this was a great idea and agreed to model all her clothes so we could make this post….

This is my friend Julia:

So, lets get started with this fashion show then!!!

This is Julia’s typical look for a Monday.
Sophisticated, cute and the kind of yellow that’s the colour of that stain on your table cloth.

This is Julia’s ABBA mixed with classy party dress.
Good for Saturday nights and ABBA related things ( of which I’m sure there are many).
Not too good for puddles though!

If you are going on a trip to Spain and want to look fab-mazing then you should borrow Julia’s great polka-dot flamenco dress
which is brill for the beach. However you could always turn it Country with a cool cowboy hat and a piece of straw…

If your life-long dream was to be an air hostess but you never found the perfect dress for serving disgusting food on an airplane then look no further!!!
Julia is giving her stylish, hot pink, skirt suit away. If you have a 3 cm waist, are 2-d and 2 inches tall then the dress is yours!!

Julia is looking good in leather trousers and a puffy almost Elizabethan style shirt.
What more could you want?!!
The blackness of the trousers is an added bonus as pasta sauce wont show up!!!

I hope you found this very educational. Julia is clearly born to be a trend-setter. Next time I leave the house, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had one more air-hostess in the world and a lot more people wearing canary-yellow suits and leather trousers!

Lots of love,

Owl xx ( and Julia)

London and it’s many rainy attractions…

We have come to London for half-term and despite the grizzly weather it has been really fun!

We are not here to see the Queen, in fact Mum is trying to avoid most of the crowds but we’re having a good time anyway. We have been to the Great British Library and Coram Fields which is this really cool park thing where you can only go in if you are with a kid, and they have a zip wire and big playgrounds. Also, in the summer, they have a shallow pool filled with water with little things  that spurt water….. We like fountains. If the weather gets better, Mum is going to take us to this amazing fountain on the South Bank which is concentric squares which shoot water up at different times and even though it’s freezing. I like the South Bank, they have a Wagamamas and normally there is cool things going on along the side so it is well worth visiting!

In the day, we went to this place called Highgate Cemetery and because no one else was stupid enough to go out in the pouring rain we got the tour guide all to ourselves and he was so good!!! It was really interesting and it turns out that he was in the Guinness Book of World Records for going round the globe in a double-decker and for driving a double decker on only two wheels! Also the cemetery itself was really intense and cool; we saw this little grave and apparently it belonged to this man who was this massive criminal mastermind of the Victorian Ages but he didn’t believe in violence so he was just this really clever con-man who befriended these super rich people and then robbed them without them ever knowing! He was never caught because even though all the police suspected him, they could never catch him in the act!! This was the guy James Moriarty was based on ( Moriarty is Sherlock Holmes’s arch-nemesis). There is an amazing Sherlock Holmes programme on every year and they do a few episodes but it has Benedict Cumberbatch in and he is a great actor along with Martin Freeman A.K.A Watson.

Tonight, we went and saw this poet called John Hegley who does quite comedic poems and he was fab-mazing! He signed some books for us and read some brilliant poems/songs…….. It’s really late now so I better go to bed other wise I will resemble a zombie tomorrow morning!

Love Owl

P.s If you are going to Kings Cross in London, be sure to look out for Platform Nine and Three quarters from Harry Potter! They have got a Hogwarts trolley going through the wall we all had our pictures taken with it! 🙂

Derek-dom

Hello,

I am sure you have all already heard of our gorgeous new kitten Derek! She has recently learnt to use the macs whilst we were sleeping and has written this and has asked that it be shown to the world, so I will do as she asks :

Story

of

my

Life

My full title is Queen Derek Ditch of Wheatley

however you may call me Derek.

I am only 12 weeks old, but I have already

learnt so much. My family are very lovely

and a bit on the noisy side but I’m used to

it!

I was found in a very tasteful ditch, the problem

was it was awfully damp, so I set my pussy cat

solicitor on it and I packed my bags ( which is

hard when you have no thumbs ).

I was passed around a lot . At first I was at this nice lady’s house, her name was Andrea and she has lots of tasty cows….. But she also had a small doggy called Pippa who thought I was a rat and tried to eat me.

Then I found the perfect place – there was this real nice family called the

Wheatleys so I settled in with them…..

There is Me, Oscar, Tallulah, Tilly, Mummy (squad leader )

and Daddy who is pack leader of theWheatley clan!

I have had these jabby things recently : they are supposed

to make me better but I hated them and they made me ill!

Useless!

On the bright side, I am now allowed into the garden which

is brilliant, I keep assassinating these green, thin animals on the lawn; they are so stupid they never see it coming…..

They don’t even fight back, they are no match for me, haha!

I am making a list of good places to sleep in this new house of mine and this is what I have come up with so far :

On the kitchen table

Pros: You can see all your enemies as they come round the corner

Cons: It is slightly crumby and sometimes I tread on the occasional bit of jam

Nestling on someone’s lap

Pros: It is very comfortable up there in the clouds

Cons: When they decide to do something, it can be a bit wobbly

The small piece of rug by the Filing Cabinet

Pros: Extraordinary warmth on that little rug due to the under floor heating

Cons: Very noisy when people walk past my little alcove of Derek-dom

Thank you for reading the story of my life in these funny fonts and tricky words – To the world I am a mere

kitten, but on paper my CV is excellent!

 Yours sincerely

Derek

Well, I don’t think I can top that so I will leave you to gaze at your computer screens in awe.

Love you ,

From Owl xxx ( and Derek )

Koala

This a live interview with the “supposedly” rabid, Blue Koala:

‘Welcome, Mr. Blue Koala.’

‘Thank you for having me.’

‘It’s a pleasure to talk to you.  Now, can you tell us, why do people think you are rabid?’

‘Yes, I can.  I have been cruelly misrepresented actually.  It all started one time when I was sniffing around someone’s house. I swallowed a stray beetle shaped lump of soap, and started frothing at the mouth!  Then someone came in and started shouting;  “RABID KOALA!” so I ran away.  I mean, people just overreact. I didn’t expect some kind of Spanish Inquisiton.’

‘Thank you for that fascinating insight into your life of miserable persecution Mr. Blue Koala.  You are a true hero of the underdog, or to be more precise, the underkoala.’

‘It’s my very great pleasure to set the record straight.  Now for a short film…’

Well that ends our show today, thank you for watching.
